This Is The Place

We have moved from the highlands of Cache Valley Utah to the High Plains of Colorado where there are more streams and less water, more range and less cattle, and where you can look out in any direction and see everything and nothing.

The Trip Cont'd

Although the trip was tiering and stressfull, we passed through some of the most beautiful country that we have ever seen.

The Trip

The truck that we rented was huge. It was over 26' long. What was worse was that we filled it to capacity. We have way too much junk. Amongst the regular crap that one would move we packed an 18 foot boat trailer, a 12' sailboat with rigings, and a snowmobile. Needless to say the trip over the monarch pass (11,000 feet) was a little slow. Overall the rig was over 50' long.

Our Latest Adventure

Just last week we packed up all we owned and made the 650 mile treck over the Rockies from Logan Utah to La Junta Colorado. No that is not our baby. Yes we pulled our pickup and yes that is a very cool looking rig.
